• Content you add. Photos you upload for identification and updates you post to the community feed.
• Contact data. Your email address when you join the early-access list or contact us.
• Anonymous usage data. Aggregate, privacy-friendly visit counts via GoatCounter — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.

2. How we use your information

We use the data above to run and improve the service: to identify your plants, fish and pets, to save your personal space across devices, to show the updates you post, to send early-access and product updates you asked for, and to understand overall site usage so we can make the site better.

3. Local storage on your device

To make the prototype work without a heavy backend, some of your data (like your sign-in session, your saved entries and your updates) is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data lives on your device. Clearing your browser storage will remove it. When we move to a full hosted service, this data will be migrated with your explicit consent.

4. Analytics

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It counts page views without using cookies and without collecting personal data, IP-based profiling or cross-site tracking. You can read more at goatcounter.com. We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party ad trackers on this site.

5. Third-party services

We may use hosted services (such as hosting providers or future sign-in providers like Google or Apple) to deliver the product. These providers process data only to provide their service to us, under their own terms. When you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, those providers share only the profile details you approve.

6. Your choices and rights

• Opt out of emails. You can unsubscribe from any early-access or update emails at any time.
• Delete your data. Clear your browser storage to remove locally stored entries; email us to request deletion of anything stored on our servers.
• Access and correction. You may request a copy of, or correction to, the personal data we hold about you.
• GDPR / CCPA rights. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have the right to access, port, correct and erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing where applicable.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. Anonymous analytics data is kept in aggregate and cannot be tied back to you.

8. Children's privacy

LeisureLifeyou is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
